Mom will go home tomorrow with Hospice. She does not qualify for in-patient Hospice because her pain can be managed, and she is not vomiting uncontrollably. Given those qualifying factors, I am grateful that she doesn't qualify. She is miserable enough.
I am also grateful for five siblings. For those who think big families are ridiculous, I have always enjoyed being a part of one and have never been more grateful than now. If not for them, I would feel like I have never been more alone in my life.
