Julia and I left the last track meet and stopped for a quick dinner before heading to her school for the 4th and 5th grade concert. The theme was Let Your Light Shine, and we were treated to really nicely done recorder harmonies, vocals and the band. The program was very nice, and we really enjoyed it.
After the program the kids talked us into a trip to a local ice cream shop. I was so exhausted at that point in the week and facing a busy Friday, but I have to admit that it was really fun to connect with the parents while the kids goofed off.
