14 years on this campus, and I have only seen the blooming of the cross once. I didn't get to attend this year.
We switched up our Easter basket scavenger hunt this year. The kids worked a crossword puzzle to get the clues before starting the scavenger hunt.
I think there was some frustration with the puzzle.
In the end the puzzle helped them find the clues. Wyatt wasn't feeling it and did not really participate.
The temporary reward - Easter baskets full of sugar and goodies. The eternal reward - He is risen, and in Him we place our hope!
Family will gather later today for a meal and possibly an egg hunt and some egg dying.
